Are our feather and down pillows ethically sourced?

We promise to ensure high standards of animal welfare in the production and supply of the goods we sell. We work only with suppliers who guarantee to meet our high expectations in the humane treatment and care of animals whose by-products we use. This includes the feather, down, silk, wool and sheepskin used in the production of our pillows.

We require our feather and down suppliers to participate in industry best-practice for the care and welfare of animals. We work with a range of suppliers who meet the most recently developed industry standards:

•        Responsible Down Standard (RDS)
•        DownPass
•        Downmark

Our suppliers work with a third-party certification body. This means we know their supply chain is fully compliant with the relevant industry standard.

We actively support humane down harvesting and neither support nor encourage the practice of live plucking. Our wool is sourced only from New Zealand and Australian farmers who do not practice mulesing.
