Summer Duvet
You'll be most comfortable with a lighter duvet in the summer. We recommend a 2.5, 3.0 or 4.5 tog duvet, depending on how hot you get at night and how warm your bedroom is. Duvet fill is an important factor in warm weather. Natural fill duvets work really well - silk, cotton and wool all help you regulate your body temperature and wick away moisture for a fresher night's sleep.
Autumn Duvet
If the weather's neither hot nor cold, go for a mid-tog duvet. Because it can be difficult to judge the weather at this time of year, a duvet that helps with temperature regulation can be a dream come true. Take a look at our feather and down filled Temprakon duvets. They use space technology to help regulate your body temperature so you won't overheat, even if you're prone to overheating. Wool is another excellent duvet fill if you suffer from hot sweats or share a bed and find yourself getting too hot at night. We'd recommend a 9 tog duvet, although if you get hot in bed you may find a 4.5 tog more comfortable.
Winter Duvet
Choose a higher tog for winter months. Depending on how much you feel the cold and how chilly your home is, we'd recommend a 9.0 tog, a 13.5 tog or for super warmth an 18 tog duvet. You can easily customise your duvet using the Soak & Sleep cufflink system to join two different duvets together to get a duvet tog that's perfect for you. Remember that duvet fill is as important as tog - a down rich duvet will be light and very warm; our Moskus fill duvet is one of the most insulative duvets we sell due to it's warmth retaining properties. Wool is wonderfully insulating and great if you share a bed as it wicks away moisture to prevent you from overheating.
Spring Duvet
If the weather's neither hot nor cold, go for a mid-tog duvet. We'd recommend a 9.0 tog duvet, although if you get hot in bed you may find a 4.5 tog more comfortable. Because it can be difficult to judge the weather at this time of year, a duvet that helps with temperature regulation can be a dream come true. Take a look at our feather and down filled Temprakon duvets. They use space technology to help regulate your body temperature so you won't overheat, even if you're prone to overheating.
